I have an interest in all other early yachts meeting the idea of a circumnavigating or blue water serious motor yachts but our first aim is to document these two groups of boats...... our ultimate goal is to share this information with a large population of people via our website (www.classictrawlers.net).

Many thanks to Sandy Breslin and all those who sent emails and made phone calls in support of Bill 891 - which passed overwhelmingly. I really appreciate Sandy being on top of all legislative issues and pending bills and we in CT owe her our gratitude and thanks. Judith Stevens Southbury

Hi All In connection with this thread and a previous one about by-pass filters and no scheduled engine oil changes I read all the stuff on Gulfcoast Filters website. Very interesting. I emailed them and asked how this affected engine manufacturers' warranties? I never received an answer. Does anyone know the answer? Regards Roger Bingham France

All I have ever done is spray WD40 onto a rag, soaking it, and rubbing it up an down both sides of the zipper. Zip closed and open a few times ans it keeps them freed up nicely.
