Westerbeke 8kw genset cooling system
Thu, Jul 29, 2010 2:07 PM
Now want to drain all the old nasty fluid (it must be horrible if it allowed corrosion like I found and when I opened the bleed fitting on top some nasty looking fluid oozed out) and am not sure of the best methodology to drain and FLUSH it. Anybody done this? Guidance? I have a gallon of antifreeze ready to go. Thanks in advance, Jim

Re: [time-nuts] Looking for a HP-58503 display

The 53131/53132/53181 counters use a 14 seg display with 18 pins top and bottom. The 58503B is 14 seg with 18 pins top and bottom. It appears to be the same display as used in the 53131/53132/53181. Shining a light into the display window shows all the enunciators that the 53132 has.

There was all kinds of other information in those lines at the top, although only technical people knew about it because most TV sets were adjusted so you couldn't see them. 73, ... Martin VE3OAT

Re: T&T: Sunk boats, replace all wiring and systems?
Tue, May 30, 2006 12:50 PM
Regardless of the time immersed, all wiring, electrical, any mechanical that has fast moving parts or bearings and all wood will have to be replaced. In some very isolated cases has the interior wood been usable, due to its being sealed from original. Obviously all upholstery is trash.
