Solid vs See-thru & Eyebrow window covers
Thu, Dec 16, 2004 3:21 PM
An alternative to either solid or see thru covers which fasten directly to windows all around the window perimeter are "eyebrow covers". In these, the shade material is fastened to the window frame or just above only at the top...like an angled sunshade. The bottom edge typically extends out to a lower height.

Sea chest
Fri, Jul 13, 2007 6:31 PM
All sea cocks , except the air conditioning sea cock, come out of the top cover of the sea chest. Each has a PVC pipe that extends from the top of the chest to the bottom of the chest, almost touching the bottom. The a/c sea cock comes off the side of the chest. The water line is about 6" below the top of the chest.

Holding Tank - re-engineering
Tue, Jul 26, 2011 10:08 PM
Hello all, I think I have put this project off long enoughÂ….so assuming the weather does not go back about 100 degrees this weekend, I am planning to start replacing the holding tank system plumbing. The current tank is fiberglassed into the hull between two stringers and fiberglass top.

Another LPRO-101 Rb Osc question...
Thu, Jan 1, 2009 6:21 PM
It is not clear to me how to remove the top case section for a look inside to check on component clearance-- The top cover does not appear to be screwed in place, but I am reluctant to just try some experimental prying. Does the case slide off? There appear to be what look like tiny detent-dimples all around the sides of the upper case lid.

But a rotate_extrude of a triangle with one side on the Y axis produces a cone, and if you put the top point of the triangle at [0,0] then you'll get the same effect I wanted - scaling it up leaves the top part all the same.

New Study Finds Millennials Well Prepared for the 'Real World'

"Don't just make information available on school websites and expect them to find it by themselves. If they need driving directions to campus, send them a map that has a big, red 'X' on it. Also, the net price calculator on school websites should be easy to find, and it should be clear what is and isn't included in the institution's net price."

They are very sturdy and at top end speed, they will go between 25 and 30 mph. We registered and titled them in PA as mopeds. Dimension's Edge also has all aluminum Dahons, but they are more expensive - probably a good investment if living in Florida or in the islands most of the time.
