Group, I haven't been following this thread that won't die, but I've contributed to others :^) If the problem is that it is expensive to detect when a bullet hits a target half a mile away, then have I got a solution for you!

The thunderstorms die down and you can really hear a *long* ways. The path you are talking about is quite possible. Bob On Dec 8, 2010, at 6:05 PM, Stan, W1LE wrote: > Hello The Net: > > I estimate /B MBD to be in DM79lt, in Westminster, CO.

Out of maybe a hundred or so in the fleet, we see maybe one or two die each month. On the SR620 the power supply also seems to go from time to time. Both have the normal keyboard and display issues, but those can be fixed. If you go back to things like the 5335, the weak point is the input amp, it blows if you get +5 on it.

It would be interesting to see the die sizes. Another advantage of the CPU solution is that you can make a large class of changes by just tweaking the software. For example changing the input from 10 MHz to 5 MHz or 1 MHz. That's also a disadvantage - somebody has to write the software.

The "engineering prototype part" (generally same die, just doesn't get the screening and paperwork) is only $3.5k in Q1. (you can also get an Eval board with the part for the same price) I wonder if the same part, without the space processing, is available?

For lowest noise and suppression of effects due to bias current, the DC feedback network needs to be low in resistance, so 1k in series may add too much drop and make the amplifier run out of headroom, or change the amount of self-heating in the amplifier die, affecting it in unpredictable ways.

They just don't lay down and die when insects are not around.

I did have a lovebird fall from a flight and die (indoors), so it can indeed happen quickly. Mary Mushinsky, Wallingford On 1/25/2015 1:46 PM, Glenn Williams via CTBirds wrote: > My father just brought in a deceased flicker. He said that he saw it in my backyard on the ground.

Hi Bev The mussel will die and fall off once it’s out of the water for a while. I once photographed a whimbrel in the same situation in Milford. A day or two later the whimbrel was still present and the mussel was gone.
