After all of the other birds have left. 4/1 6:45 PM, 4/2 6:50 PM, 4/3 7:10 PM. He stays for no longer than 5 minutes and that’s it. So I cannot promise anything but he is still around. I have posted all of his visits to e-bird. Dave Winston

Beware of ticks

A good practice (recommended by the Centers for Disease Control) is to toss your outer garments into the dryer and spin them at high heat for 10 minutes after returning from a visit to tick habitat. John Weeks North Granby, CT 06060

Hi everyone, If you've been using our "priority block" maps to determine where to spend your birding time, we have an updated version, available here: http://ctbirdatlas.org/Winter_TargetLate.pdf Data from any block with less than 10 hours of survey effort during the late winter period is valuable, but visits to the priority blocks shown on the map (which
