Hi everyone,
If you've been using our "priority block" maps to determine where to spend your birding time, we have an updated version, available here:
http://ctbirdatlas.org/Winter_TargetLate.pdf

Data from any block with less than 10 hours of survey effort during the late winter period is valuable, but visits to the priority blocks shown on the map (which all have less than 3 hours) are especially helpful.

Thanks,Chris

I signed up for 34a, Collinsville/New Hartford, will plan on surveys along sections of the Farmington River adjacent to Rte 44, but will also try some snowshoeing on several trails I know in that section. If anyone wants to join me, meet up on week day outings when it's not bad weather, please message me.

Thanks, Celeste Echlin
