Re: T&T: MFDs And Compasses

And given that most want the radio within easy reach from the helm, I've seen external speakers mounted within a foot of the compass, with predictable results. One guy was oh so proud of his newly-installed speakers, all within a short distance of the compass that I didn't have the heart to tell him about what he'd done to his compass' accuracy.

High Power Line Clearance

That's all well and good, but standing on deck and trying to determine how much distance exists between the lowest line and the top of a mast, 50 feet or more up there, is often difficult to do with any accuracy.

It would be quite easy to drill up through the whole assembly, into the container, through the center of the push button which is about 2 inches in diameter. A piece of fine mesh screen inside and out would keep away the hornets and other intruders. All good suggestion! Looks like at least one more trip on to the roof!

Re: [pjsip] Making a single library in PJSIP (iPhone)

Anyhow, I solved it by keeping it as two libaries - one for PJSIP (using libtool -static) and one for the Xcode library (which is a wrapper on top of PJ) Benny, I haven't tried your script yet, but I am doing something pretty similar to what Alejandro suggested above - a single line to just group all the .as to a single .a best On Fri, Oct 1, 2010 at 11:26

I appreciate the fact that this subject engenders deep, emotional responses from people, and rightly so. However, it's best if we stay on topics related to boating and the Great Loop in particular.
