[Ontbirds]Grackles and Mockingbird
Mon, Mar 12, 2007 7:35 PM
All winter there was only one blue jay visiting the feeder on a spasmodic basis) There were birds everywhere including several grackles, many starlings and a Mockingbird. There used to be a pair in the neighbourhood. There haven't been any mockingbirds for at least 10 years. The mockingbird was skittish and flew out of sight into a neighbour's yard.
