For example high speed photometry (occupations) knowing current time to 10 ms would be good Some people will record audio from WWV simultaneous with the optical data.

Starting in the late 60's I won second place at IEEE student contest for my counter design using 7 segment lamp and Motorola RTL in the 70's I buried a Sulzer using bank coin bags filled with sand to close the hole and application notes at TI using TI LED and IC's, in the 80's bought an Efraton FRK and did my first DO using a Tracor Omega converted to

At that time, with low-power CSAC electronics, the performance of that same physics package was up around 1e-10 and most were in the 2-3e-10 range (see Figure 6), which would have led to a spec somewhere north of there, perhaps 3-4e-10. For your amusement, I just added a more recent paper (from the 2009 FCS/EFTF) to my WWW site.

This morning a large flock of 60 + Common Redpolls arrived at the feeders along with 10 + Pine Grosbeaks . (A lake near by had 3 groups of Hooded Mergansers and a lone immature common loon.)
