Ulrich Bangert

best song of them all........

Tonight, I decided I liked the Hermit Thrush's song as the best, by far, of all. Might anyone else agree? Paul Carrier - Harwinton

Tue, Oct 26, 2010 1:10 PM
Weather: Today was all day cloudy and drizzly, though rain was short and patchy. Temperatures were warm topping off at 71f. Winds were consistent from the south west, but at times did not move at all. Raptor Observations: Raptor movement was slow, due to odd weather mixes.

-- I counted over 30 from the viewing platform, and another 20 from the north platform--- pyramidal muskrat push-ups are being revealed as the cattails die down. As I said, come see them, AND offer an opinion as to what they bode for the wetlands. I did NOT see or hear Crossbills this AM.

[Ontbirds] Wildwood Lake Birds, Oct 6
Fri, Oct 6, 2017 6:23 PM
For fish-eating birds, it truly is a Harvest Festival at Wildwood, with a huge Carp die-off that has provided an all-day buffet for those interested. Among the thousands of gulls taking part were also 5 juvenile Bald Eagles and an est. 175 Turkey Vultures. Oil Re-use - comments

We don't all run our boats at the same time, and there just aren't that many of us anyway. Spread our traveling out over a 6 month season, and the environmental concerns are pretty much a "wash". Really good comments from many of you on this. Love this List! Norm

Battery cable replacement

So, I need a manageable crimper with die sets up to the largest size I have on my boat and some other sizes down to #8. Can all those be found to fit one tool? I have also used heat shrink tubing on most of my work but just off the shelf at the big box or Radio Shack. You guys are mentioning "adhesive" heat shrink. Is that different?
