Re: [time-nuts] optically excite a quartz crystal?

A fairly high level team looked into the issue and etching of blanks (and a few other mods) were made a mandatory part of all crystals suppled to the government. Ammonium bi-flouride and water was the most common etchant in that era. There are a number of papers about the whole deal in the FCS, and many stories told by those who were part of the changes.

The State of the Birds data library is pretty cool – linked through the Find a Bird tool on the website. > · We released our BBA2 website at www.massaudubon.org/bba2. All the content that is in the eBook is available on the website for free. > · And today iTunes launched our BBA2 as an eBook, which I think is the first Atlas eBook.

Most town governments have very short- sighted perspectives in thinking that allowing development would add to the tax base, all the while, neglecting the costs that would offset any such benefit. I'm sure there are plenty of kickbacks and payoffs going on all the time.

closings
Mon, Sep 21, 2009 5:04 PM
Thanks to all who replied to my question of waterway closings heading north from Kentucky Lake to lake Erie. I may decide to head south instead. How far down the system to Mobile Bay do I need to go, so that I can lay up my boat without winterizing it?

It was interesting to see the owl weave through all of the Ospreys with a blinding sun in the background. Tim Antanaitis East Hampton --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
