Once in a while, they will come up to the walkway for a visit., in fact I did see one land on top of the rock barrier right along the side of the walk way... that moment only lasted a few seconds, with so many people about., but the young are very curious. several images on my website, please enjoy, and comment in there if you wish.

TWL: From other "experts" on lightning protection
Sun, Dec 21, 2003 12:47 AM
Well, I'm not so sure....Here is a slightly different perspective..all the experts may not agree: While I don't know what "inaccurate" means, other experts still use the cone of protection as a criteria for improving lightning protection, not guarranteeing protection.

Re: Sight Glasses on Fuel Tanks
Fri, May 7, 1999 4:21 PM
If the tanks were clear full, the fuel will run out the top until the level reached a point where it was below the top fitting. Anyway.... as Paul said, it sure makes it easy to check fuel levels. I also watch the sight "glass" tubes during fueling to know when I'm approaching full. Have never had a spill through the vent line.

Now put the rope in your right hand on top of the line that you're holding in your left. Kind of cross it over and give it a twist down. The short end will go down on the left side of the long end.

Re: T&T: Are my props to small
Thu, Feb 26, 2015 6:55 PM
John, Sizing props for an existing, running boat is pretty easy. We want props that allow your engines to just reach their max rated RPM at max throttle. If your present props approximate this, then they are a reasonable size/pitch. You didn't tell us your engines' rated top RPM's.
