if your phone, like most, has a built in browser you can access a lot of stuff off the weather channel mobile website... the marine forecast is under 36 hr forecast > lifestyle. you can also get radar and sat images.

Anyway, I read the Texas regulations (that's where we are starting as we head over to Mobile to start the GL). I think I'll read the regs of each state as we go through. The Canada reg website only talked about the PNW; I guess they don't have any regulations anywhere else, chuckle, chuckle.

Many websites extol the virtues of this antenna or that amplifier to use when long range is required but 99% of these sites are dealing with land based fixed site installations virtual none have over the water mobile experience.

Sears use to carry them, but having a hard time finding them on their website. The mobile specialty tool companies, those folks that run around in trucks and service machanic shops should be able to get them. Bike shops also, since some of the nuts used on bikes require thin bladed wrenches.
