Bob,
It sounds like the fishing enforcement in the PNW is some serious stuff. Makes me glad I'm not going there; I'd be afraid to buy a salmon at the store to take "home" (my boat) to BBQ on a cedar plank.
Anyway, I read the Texas regulations (that's where we are starting as we head over to Mobile to start the GL).
I think I'll read the regs of each state as we go through.
The Canada reg website only talked about the PNW; I guess they don't have any regulations anywhere else, chuckle, chuckle.

I forgot for a second the explicit correctness of the list when I posted my
reply about fishing licenses.
My context was.....while I was cruising along in my little "sport fishing
boat", I might drop a line over the transom to see what might get
snagged...or maybe at anchor putting out a hook to see what I might find in
the morning. I retract my suggestion, by way of my actions, in the
aforementioned thread and will forever only look at fish that have been
caught after paying the appropriate fees for licensing and only eat at Red
Lobster while cruising state to state...promise.
