We're closing in on the big night and couldn't be more thrilled about the way things
are shaping up. With 15 stages, workshops both leading up to and on First Night,
 The Museum of Glass Mobile Hot Shop, a fire-clock, dream trees, 20'x40' shadow 
puppet theater, 15' long giant tiger puppet, The Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline,
a movement chorus at midnight, and just way too much to fit into one sentence, First
Night Tacoma-Pierce County will be a true celebration of community and the arts.
  Celebrate the Year of the Metal Tiger. Overcome adversity with grace and strength
and land on your feet. Buy a button. Volunteer. Bring a friend.  But most of all,
fully involve yourself, family and friends in a spectacularly and meaningful start
