Re: [WEB SECURITY] Brand New DefenseCode Web Security Scanner DAST
Wed, May 24, 2017 5:57 PM
DefenseCode WebScanner is a DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing, BlackBox Testing) solution for comprehensive security audits of active web applications (websites). WebScanner will test a website's security by carrying out a large number of attacks using the most advanced techniques, just as a real attacker would.

TWL: Waiting For Isabel
Thu, Sep 18, 2003 4:52 AM
Today Diane and I finished all that we could to protect her from the looming storm. We added to her protection all the years of Tampa experience but as we walked away down the dock, we both stopped and looked back at her. She is a beautiful boat and quite easy on the eyes.

looking for advice

I find the boat easy to operate and clearly a livable choice. We work upstairs and live downstairs. We carry about 250 gallons of diesel and burn under 1.5 GPH at 6.5 kts. . That gives us sufficient range to fuel up at Ocean Petroleum in Brunswick, GA and travel three weeks (or more) to Norfolk where we refuel at Top Rack.

The bander will receive a salary to be arranged but will need to provide their own accommodation within easy reach of the Leslie St. Spit (and will need to provide their own transport to the site depending on the proximity of their accommodation).

Re: [USRP-users] USRP B210 - Subdev A data to both DDCs in SISO mode

Clearly this is a custom FPGA image, but its a fairly easy project, the only new logic is the interleaver at the out put of the 2 DDC's. I have this code, but haven't published it. I could be persuaded to, but it will come without any support.

REMEMBER TO INCLUDE THE TOWN!!
Tue, Apr 17, 2018 4:56 PM
Sorry about that, but as migration heats up it is easy to get excited and send the report RIGHT NOW, and it is so easy to leave out the town. And while I am mentioning such things, all posts to CTBirds should be signed with your name and the town where you live. Thanks, and good birding! Roy Harvey CTBirds admin/moderator Beacon Falls, CT

My GPS-Derived Standard...

For all but the most demanding hobbyists (and these were the targeted users), this is more than enough for the kind of use they make of it. If you read the article AND my website, you will see that I inform the user of the reasons why they should not expect better than 1x10e-9.

They look nice, are easy to find, are of consistent size, and will keep all your treasured memories easy to reach on the bookshelf - just use a label maker on the spine with the vessel's name and time period covered. I used to paste in Polaroids of visiting crew and that still brings back memories, even though the photos have faded over the years.

Since zinc is, to coin a phrase, a "least metal", adding sacrificial zincs means the current flows to and erodes them rather than some valuable and essential component of the vessel. I assume, therefore, that the recommendation to "unplug" simply removes a possible source of accelerated deterioration.

Re: T&T: Diesel starting fluid
Thu, May 10, 2007 3:56 PM
The vacuum itself will cause as much drag as the compression, different side of the same coin. Finally, I would use a heat gun into the intake. Nice pre-heated air, let the diesel provide its own fuel in a controlled manner. If it won't start then you need to look at the fuel system. David Skooch Worton Creek MD
