Top Posting Clarified - Hopefully
Wed, May 25, 2011 2:23 AM
My top posting complaint is not because of one earlier post at the bottom. That is reference information. Typically, in the past, it was not uncommon to see top posting of five or six previous posts. This would then fill up four or five pages. There might be two or three such top postings for each issue.

TWL: Tolly 26
Wed, Jun 19, 2002 3:01 PM
My thanks again to all of you who responded to my posts about the 26' Tolly. The seller and I have agreed on a price and my surveyor has looked at the boat out of the water. He is more of an engine guy, and that's what I need the most help with. The broker needs to get the boat in the water, and then we will do the engine work and sea trial.

RFNOC_OOT_SRCS cleared in top/n3xx/Makefile.srcs
Wed, Jan 29, 2020 9:17 PM
I have been struggling all day with why I can't build my OOT rfnoc blocks for the N310 using v3.15.0.0. It appears that the problem is that there is a file top/n3xx/Makefile.srcs that is clearing the RFNOC_OOT_SRCS variable after it is set in the users OOT makefile. I just commented the line in top/n3xx/Makefile.srcs and that seems to do the trick.

Changing COA website tonight
Tue, Feb 7, 2017 9:42 PM
The new COA website is a nearly completed work and should offer all the same content as the previous while being updated more often with photos, blog posts, and so on. Be aware it takes time for various servers to figure out where the new site is for the ctbirding.org domain, and it may take hours or even a couple days for your ISP to be updated.

>I also prefer top posting. It makes life a lot simpler. Then you should change your MUA so it puts your .sig at the top, too. Right now, you're both top _and_ bottom posting.

Top 10 Trawlers/Passagemaker by Robert Beebe
Wed, Dec 30, 1998 6:14 PM
Here is more info the leading candidate: Passagemaker, Robert Beebe's own ocean-going motorboat, exemplifies and articulates all that is good and desirable in a vessel intended for voyaging the world under power. His boat deserves to be on top of the list because Passagemaker, after all, started it all 35 years ago.
