Re: T&T: Water Tank Gauge

The tubes are not easy to read. Perhaps a rearrangement of the tubing is worth another try Thanks John

Teak & Holly sole
Sat, Feb 16, 2019 7:58 PM
That Teak & Holly in my case was a very thin veneer on top of a substrate of plywood or something. It was easy to scratch and scuff and I accidentally dropped a wrench On it and it out a nice DENT in the veneer Which is very thin. Your coatings are just going to make it very slick to walk on.

How about an IBM-360 ;-) There were others, really weird stuff, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. And you? -Chuck Harris

HV PS Board for FTS 4060?
Fri, Nov 15, 2019 5:18 PM
My +3kv circuit seems to have died and the board is not easy to repair due to the potting. BTW, I did find that the board is not as hard to remove as it looks.

In fact, my preference for these luggage tags is three-color, with cutouts on both the top and bottom layers, and the middle showing through.  They are TPU for durability.  (If anybody is interested let me know and I'll supply the OpenSCAD program.) 1

Which ones were easy to write? I didn't keep track of how long it took to write mine. Here's a 3rd one that took just a few minutes to write, but not sure it's particularly readable.

To all who replied

Many thanks to you all ... you are exactly correct in the ID of the bird I saw was a Black Billed Cuckoo. I am looking at the bird in the book I mentioned and it's a perfect match. Being I had no idea what I was seeing I went by what I saw but further research needed to be done on my part. Sorry if I may have sparked a rarity in CT.

How to fry an inverter in one easy step
Fri, Aug 22, 2014 12:41 PM
ent this sort of thing. Does anyone know what causes inverter failures and how to avoid them? The unit is 10 years old but rarely used, Victron says they do not have parts and if I want to re-establish the original capacity then I must replace both. Edmond Badham COSMO Wilmington, NC
