We tried a 12v coffee maker on our sail boat - it drew way TOO much current and took over 25 mins to brew - better off using a stove top percolator on the propane grill.

At any given step, that's easy.  When you make a mistake, you get an error. This is generally easy in a language that's got strong static typing; if you have a mismatch, the compiler complains, and it's checked at every reference.
