We've had a Flicker daily at our suet for the last 5 days or so, but no visits earlier in the winter. Last winter we had only one recorded flicker visit in December, 2007.

What is the cleanest way to derive these frequencies from 10 MHz. I would suspect a number like 10, which is not a power of 2, would present more of a problem. I don't know what kit he has that needs 1 or 5 MHz,so I don't know how fussy it is.

A few record highs were noted but in particular Snowy Owl 10 (2 in 2008) all found south of Lefaivre. Other New Highs: Ruffed Grouse 6 ( previous high 5 in 2010) Hairy Woodpecker 36 (previous high 33 in 2012) Blue Jay 289 (previous 216 in 2011) Interesting species: Gray Partridge 5, American Robin 2 (2nd record), and Lapland Longspur 1.
