Today, at my brothers house in West Hartland, he had 150 plus Siskins with
one COMMON REDPOLL within. My Redpoll was not seen yesterday, so i bet
he went up to my brothers feeder.

PS) I have had a Flicker all winter in the yard, esp eating sumac. Anyone else
seeing a Flicker in yard all this winter?

I haven't had a redpoll this year but I have had a pair of flickers feeding
on suet quite often this winter - seeing them almost daily for the last 2
weeks.  In fact, my woodie collection has been quite large this year - 3
downies, 2 redbellies, 2 hairies, and 2 flickers.

We've had a Flicker daily at our suet for the last 5 days or so, but
no visits earlier in the winter.  Last winter we had only one
recorded flicker visit in December, 2007.
