But I will look into the practicality of implementing a differential line for the long run of 10 MHz cable.

[Ontbirds] Toronto Islands-Bald eagle, Chestnut-collared Longspurs ? , Pileated Woodpecker, etc.

We observed these 2 birds for about 10 minutes as close as 10 feet away. Front, side, back and any other view you can come up with. The birds kept walking and feeding (not hopping) as we followed them. It all boils down to the birds being 80% Chestnut-collared and 20% possible Smith's Longspur. In any case these were definitely Longspurs.

If arriving in early am ( before 7:30 ) you must obtain your ticket from a machine just inside the gate so be sure to have $1.00 and $2.00 and / or 25 cent coins before you arrive at the docks as there is no place to get change and the machine does not make change. (There is a change machine (up to a $10 bill) there if you want to chance it).

That's how it was coined as Allan's variance by fellow researchers. He also looked at the bias function for measurements with dead-time, another obsticle of its day. It created another bias function which would allow for comparable measures.

Ted, We have Gyro Gales aboard ADIOS!, our 48' DeFever and couldn't be happier with them. They do WORK!! Maintenance is extremely low, just change a couple of filters and o-rings yearly. They were on the boat when we bought her, but would go for Gyro-Gales again in a heartbeat. Call Magged at GG, he knows his stuff!! Sorry, don't have any experience with Niads but the pneumatics of the GG's seem much simpler than the hydraulics of Niads. Good Luck!! Randy Jacobs, ja447@ix.netcom.com 48' DeFever, ADIOS! If you follow this advice, make sure you delete only those in your */windows/help directory. You can always check, after using "find" as suggested above, by clicking on the file to see what information it presents. -- Bob McLeran rmcleran@ix.netcom.com M/V "Sanderling" Docked at Point Patience Marina Hailing port: Wianno MA Solomons, MD Hampton 35 Trawler

RE: Anchor

-----Original Message----- From: owner-trawler-world-list@samurai.com [mailto:owner-trawler-world-list@samurai.com] On Behalf Of Patrick Lorrain Subject: Anchor Patrick -- You can get a variety of recommendations from trawler owners who have had experience with their particular style of boat, operating grounds and experience. I suggest that you read my book "The Complete Book of Anchoring and Mooring" to get the overall gist of the problem and then make up your mind. You can select anchor patterns from it based on your cruising grounds, anchor and rode sizes based on your specific boat (by calculation or table) and a variety of hints on how best to anchor under different situations. The one-anchor cures-all-myth is strictly marketing hype. Earl <
