Racors 2 micron vrs 10 micron
Thu, Jun 29, 2006 10:10 AM
Hi, Brian: As you know, I'm reticent to put forth an opposing point of view, but here goes: Racor recommends 30 or 10 micron primaries with a 500-hour change interval; Lugger recommends changing the secondary at 600 hours. Based on experience, I believe that's conservative, and so I go about twice that.

Force 10 water heater& lessons learned‏
Fri, Jul 29, 2011 4:13 PM
In 120 degree F water, this takes 10 minutes, 125 only takes 2 minutes, 140 6 seconds, 150 two seconds. Children burn more easily. How many of us have diabetes or other conditions that may cause some degree of peripheral neuropathy. Maybe we should take a look at a possible serious injury source of the hot water temperature in our boats.

Hello Martyn, Martyn Smith wrote: Despite the AGC we still achieve good phase noise (-135 dBc/Hz @ 1 Hz with a -168 dBc noise floor) together with 130 dB isolation and 10 ps/C phase stability. I have problems to understand, how your amplifier can achieve phase noise of -135 dBc/Hz @ 1 Hz.
