RE. Re: WTS: Efratom PTB-100 Precision Timebase (Don@True-Cal)

I've had this problem with Xbox handsets before possibly due to sulfur from handling. Even a set of digital scales failed due to being in a shed next to PCB etching equipment. I also noticed that sometimes a precision resistor will drift due to heat, as mentioned in the repair guides it can affect even parts near a heat source. -Andre

I measure the power of the desired signal x(t) = r*exp(j*2*pi*(fc+f)*t), and the undesired replica x'(t) = r'*exp(j*2*pi*(fc-f)*t), putting a spectrum analyzer marker on each peak, and see what the delta is. I tried running free without calibration script and the result was worse.

Laborers needed!
Thu, Apr 7, 2016 3:48 PM
I am working with fellow rugger Matt Collins doing a variety of construction projects and he asked if I knew of any skilled or unskilled laborers. I don't know about the former, but the latter we have in spades! If interested and need some coin, please contact Matt directly at 720-588-0226 or denvershandymanservices@gmail.com Cheers!

Re: [time-nuts] vs Hg ion? Re: GPS clock stabilitiy, Rb vs Cs

The exception seems to be fountains, which can run on pretty much any alkali atom you care to feed it, and some even able to use both Rb og Cs (Built to nail the Rb frequency firmly down, as I understand it).
