Can you get this all done with 40 GHz as your “top” frequency? >> Traditional cesiums and rubidiums use a pair >> of synthesized frequencies being then sent into a step-recover diode >> inside a tuned cavity which then does the mixing and selects the right >> combination. > > Same scheme might work here.

Also, they die in 6 weeks whether you draw current or not. And they can use up the free oxygen in the watch case if your seals are good. One source for reasonably priced accutrons is Tom Mister at dashto.com . He loves the things, and usually has a few on his website. He prices things to his own ideas of what they are worth... not ebay's.

=ryobi+18v+li%2Ctools%2C349&sr=1-4 not advertising amazon here just was convenient because it has pictures from every angle. there is the base of the battery the more squared off side pints towards the front at least in my impact and drill. above the base there is a about 5.4mm high squarish thing where the holding clamps protrude from everything is fairly easy

Re: [time-nuts] Test Equipment
Sat, Jan 23, 2010 6:22 PM
Final solution was industrial strength work benches with a butcher block maple top, 1-3/4" thick. I use a grounded anti static rubber mat on top. They have never sagged with lotsa test equipment on them. My test bench is 36" deep and 72" wide.
