Re: T&T: Iron fuel tanks, in general
Fri, Apr 14, 2006 12:29 PM
Tops and bottoms of the tanks are usually flat, and mounted horizontally. This allows the water inside to cover a wide area to a very tiny depth, and allows the water which inevitably drips onto the outside tank top to puddle there and maximize corrosion.

The dinghy is ready and more available on top in case of your vessel sinking. 4. We carried our 10' Avon Rover with 8HP engine on the top of our Grand Banks 32 for most of the 7350 miles on the loop with no noticeable effect. 5.

"landlubbers"??

I use the top of the card. although I'll use the aft face if I want to fine- tune the heading because there are hash marks every 5 degrees on the vertical edge of the card as opposed to the top, which is marked in N, NE, E, SE, S, etc. with hash marks every 15 degrees between them.

Re: T&T: Holding Tank - re-engineering
Tue, Jul 26, 2011 11:56 PM
The current tank is fiberglassed into the hull between two stringers and fiberglass top.  It is not a physical tank but just the hull, stringers and top that were glassed to form a box.  The plumbing is connected by an aluminum plate on top of the tank, that has some aluminum welds and some bronze fittings.

Re: [OpenSCAD] feedback: let, echo and assert in expressions

I think that, for the top level of a script, this is backwards compatible. This problem normally only bites people at the top level, so fixing the problem at the top level is a win.

5370B arrived - any FAQ
Thu, Jun 19, 2008 7:08 AM
I figured it out in the end (undo the screw at top rear and remove the top two feet and slide the top back). My top didn't slide easily and so it wasn't obvious. My third issue I'm not sure how it happened and I think it was a bug.
