Re: [USRP-users] Yet More FFTW NEON Support
Tue, Aug 23, 2011 9:20 PM
once FFTW 3.3.1 is out of beta. We will continue to make our NEON version of FFTW 3.2.2 available until that occurs. Do you have any sense how long before there is a final fftw release? o TX with borip. It would be wonderfull if ettus produced a single windows installer, that creates a network server to use the USRP1 for RX as well as TX. A network server is so much easier to interface then a C++ DLL. I know a few HAMs and SWLs that are good in HF, medium in electronics and weak with software. So a single install from uhd-network-server, a cusomized powersdr or sdr-radio would make the USRP1 so much more accessible to them. You will probably gain quite a few customers as soon as a ham oriented SDR will make a driver for this network USRP1, and make a number of programming hams, who program in other languages than python or C++ also very happy. Re: [USRP-users] Support with downconverting a signal inside USRP

> http://lists.ettus.com/mailman/listinfo/usrp-users_lists.ettus.com You should be able to do this with RFNoC these days--just a simple loopback between your RX and TX ports, with the TX port configured for your desired frequency. I know that RFNoC had issues with this type of configuration, but I think recently those have been resolved. Otherwise, you can do it on the software side--I'm guessing your bandwidths aren't large.

Will you support my JDRF One Walk today?

ible athlete. She currently plays on the Texas Christian University’s Volleyball team. Even though she has to check her blood sugar level when she wakes up, before she goes to sleep, every time she eats, she still finds the time and energy for her favorite sport. I have personally witnessed the struggle she goes through on a daily basis when she counts how many carbohydrates she consumed because that determines how much insulin she needs. She has never let this disease define her, and does not believe in the phrase “I can’t.” Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin–a hormone essential to turning food into energy. People with T1D must regularly monitor their blood-sugar level, inject or infuse insulin through a pump, and carefully balance their doses with eating and daily activities. JDRF is funding research for new treatments that will make living with this disease easier and healthier—until there is a cure. Will you help me reach my fundraising goal today by donating even just $25? Click the button below to get started. It would also be fantastic if you were able to come and participate in this year's One Walk Thank you. Sincerely, John Foster Sarah’s response to how diabetes has affected her life: "It just kind of forces me to be more responsible and be self-aware of my body. I've never had a doctor say I shouldn't do anything. I just think it's very important for people to know that if you have Type 1 diabetes, that you can do everything. You just have to take two seconds out of your day and check your blood sugar." Please visit JDRF today!

Little Gull Island Needs Our Support
Sun, Oct 14, 2012 4:00 AM
elp. Please take a minute to write an email to the person listed below. New London Maritime Society Susan Tamulevich posted an announcement 23 hours ago We fear the high bidders may be intending to lease Little Gull Island to stage wave-energy testing in the Race. The island’s fragile habitat—which impacts that of great Gull and Plum Islands— cannot sustain that. This article explains the situation: http://www.yourpublicmedia.org/content/wnpr/tid... If no additional bids are made, the auction for Little Gull ends in eleven hours — but that is not the final word. We believe, per the law, the GSA has the power to accept the bid most in line with the intent of the national Lighthouse Protection Act. On Thursday, our coalition offered to pay $150,000 for the property, have the New London Maritime Society preserve the lighthouse and the US Fish & Wildlife manage the island’s fragile habitat. Please contact the GSA directly, before the decision is made, and let them know what you think: Contact: Gabrielle Sigel, GSA Phone: 617-565-5700 Fax: 617-565-5720 gabrielle.sigel@gsa.gov http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2012/10/09/news/doc5074b1dad2ae0673767104.txt http://en.indiegogo.com/Save-Little-Gull-Island?c=home&a=1600862 Thanks for your time all!
