Re: GL: Mobile to Chicago

The only reasonable route to use is the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway from Mobile, then the Tennessee and Ohio to reach the Mississippi at Cairo where you would turn upriver toward St. Louis and beyond. You didn't give the height of your mast.

Mobile "Hot spot" in a box
Thu, Feb 23, 2006 2:37 PM
They come from companies like Kyocera, Junxion and Top Global, and they're every bit as awesome as they sound. (Unfortunately, the category is so new that it has no agreed-upon name. "Portable hot spot" is descriptive but unwieldy. "Cellular gateway" is a bit cryptic. Kyocera's term, "mobile router," may be as good as any.)

Windows Mobile and PJSip
Tue, Nov 27, 2007 9:12 PM
Hi PJSIP users, I believe that PJSip works on windows mobile 6. I was wondering if there is a well developed UA (in terms of functionality, as good as the windows platform version) also there ? I think there is a simple UA present as a proof of concept.

Re: [time-nuts] Toy radiolocation and LORAN envelope

In "monitor mode" the locator would request a micro-power ping (not using the coin battery, just the capacitor. from the toy and use a large non-mobile antenna and would alarm if the time of flight changed.
