Hoping you have a subscription to read this article (link below). I'm hopeful that the federal funding will help municipalities to create regulations that include thoughtful open spaces in high density residential areas. All members of CT Audubon recently received the mailed annual issue of “Connecticut State of the Birds” which is the source of the articles (and several more!) that appeared in the Courant on 12/9. There was also the free and informative presentation of the report on Zoom the other day. This in-depth research and reports should be in the hands of everyone who is involved in their local land trusts and conservation groups in CT. Thanks to CT Audubon for being such an important resource for conservation in our state!
