Sat, Mar 16, 2013 11:04 PM
With several thousand waterfowl congregating between Hickey's Point on Howe Island and Holiday Bay on Wolfe Island, in the open water of the St-Lawrence River I counted 10 Bald Eagles today @ 4PM sitting on the ice (2 adults and 8 immature).

This has to be the easiest and lowest cost circuit. Start with an AC14 ST, followed by a divide by 5. I used part of a HC390 but a LS 90 will do.

Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz clock distribution for the lab

If cables are short (which is not hard at 10 MHz), it would just be a resistive divider. If the source impedance is low, it's just more work for the driver. If the source includes 50 ohms, that's a 5:1 (1/6) divider so it probably works if the receivers are reasonably sensitive. -- These are my opinions. I hate spam.
