Re: [time-nuts] How accurate are cheap radio controlled clocks?

All three were in exact synchronism - no error between them, as closely as the ear and the eye could tell. Are there different ways these radio-controlled clocks are synched to time signals?

We know a dog in Catalina that plays ball all by itself. Starts on the top deck of a 40 foot trawler. Throws ball in the water. Lets it drift aways then jumps afer it. Collects ball swims back to boat. Climbs almost vertical ladder to cockpit. Gets into cockpit and climbs vertical ladder to top deck.

Everyone defines their own 'needs' and there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to boat size or type -- Your 25-footer is a dandy, and we're sure, perfect for you.

The app is free and for $49 you get all the US charts as well as complete tide and current tables. They are very easy to use. Sent from my iPad On Jun 20, 2013, at 6:25 AM, Jim Healy wrote: > Laura, Fred and list, > > On the Hudson, low tide and slack current may not be at the same time of day.

Simple, easy to maintain, great range, very seaworthy. But I'm a Clueless Newbie, so if any of you Old Salts would like to read what is on that website and then reply back here with your thoughts, I would appreciate it and, who knows, it might even start an interesting discussion about (gasp) BOATS! :)) Dave
