Re: T&T: Wet Exhaust Mufflers (terminology question)
Tue, Dec 22, 2009 2:32 AM
If you look at the website of National Marine Exhaust in Marysville, Washington, one of the top exhaust fabricators in the country, you'll see they use the term "riser cans" and "wet or dry mufflers." Nothing I saw referring to "silencers."

New Furuno all-in-one
Mon, Jan 11, 1999 2:37 PM
Saw the new Furuno all in one radar (1831, 1931 or 1942), fishfinder, gps/chartplotter (with diff optional) at the New York Show. A very bright 10.4 inch active display. Layering of the dgps/plotter signal and the radar along with arp was a highlight. Up to two remotes can be hung. Device is not yet approved for sale in the US.

Switching to Synthetic Oil
Wed, Nov 21, 2012 2:38 AM
Now, I have no connection to AEP or Mobil (other than, like all of you I buy lots of oil for my boat) but the message cannot be ignored. As we winterize in prep for 2013 should full synthetics be the oil (what are the best brands?) to use if we want what AEP does? Norm Miller Quiet Company Sent from my iPad
