Re: [time-nuts] pps vs. 10 MHz timing
Sat, Dec 13, 2008 2:20 AM
The PPS output should always be generated using the 10 MHz such as they have a stable phase-relationship. The generated PPS is then compared to the source PPS and controlled phase adjustments should be done. Cheers, Magnus

What's the best way to double 10 MHz to 20 MHz ?
Wed, May 25, 2011 7:52 AM
If one was to make a 20 MHz reference, what's the best way to get a 20 MHz sine wave (at least 0 dBm) from a 10 MHz TCXO or OCXO? The 10 MHz devices seem much more popular than 20 MHz ones, so I can probably pick a higher spec 10 MHz device more easily. Dave -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.

Chester, 5/10 - indigo bunting
Sat, May 10, 2008 10:00 PM
Chester, 5/10 - I was thrilled today to see my first-ever male INDIGO BUNTING. (Everyone else in my family had seen one except for me, and it's been a running joke.) This beauty spent about 5 minutes on the splitrail fence around our water garden - he was obviously attracted by the running water and kept making dives toward the pond.
