As far as frequencies close to 10 MHz -- I assumed that division by 2 (e.g., 10 MHz -> 5 MHz) or division by 10 (e.g., 10 MHz -> 1 MHz) were simple to implement using a single IC (one flip-flop or decade counter). The '7490 or '390 come to mind. /tvb

Norfolk Xbill update - Type 2 AND Type 10

Hi all, I finally completed a writeup on the Benedict Pond crossbills, which can be seen at: http://www.shorebirder.com/2016/09/type-2-and-type-10-red-crossbills-in.html I have included audio clips and spectrograms for those interested. In summary, I took recordings on three occasions on the afternoon of Sept 20th.
