TWL: Cleats

This is easy on the line, the boat and the crew, and is very easy and quick to let go if need be. It best works with braided or double braided line. If you like the principle but don't trust it yet, just put a stopper knot at the bitter end (before securing). Ok, seat belt is on, fire away. Richard

I no sooner had my scope set up and the male sat up on top of the tree about 100 yds in the field. The female was then located near the base of the tree sitting on a shrub, quite easy to see from the road. directions are as per Michael Carlson. Birds seen on Side Rd. 33/34 about 100 yds from County Rd. #11 near Paisley.

Also suggestions on how to get the glass panes out, since there does not appear to be enough space in the top channel to lift the panes out of the lower track. Cheers, Garrett

I also have easy access to the engine raw water hoses to use the Lehmans as pumps and stuck a high water alarm float switch on top of one of the high capacity bilge pumps with 5200. Regards.....

Re: TWL: Depth affect on waves

For instance, a warm layer of water say 20 feet deep lying on top of colder water. The 20 foot boundary in effect becoming the bottom. For obvious reasons this kind of effect is not well understood and certainly not easy to identify by the casual observer. It may well be that some incidents reported in supposedly deep water are related to this.

Batteries
Tue, Jun 29, 2004 11:00 AM
Sealed and AGM makes sense for me because I cannot easily (I know, nothing on a boat is supposed to be easy) get to the tops of the batteries to check/add water. The charging requirements are essentially the same. Gary & Gail M/Y Evolution 36' Krogen Manatee Anchored in Apalachicola, Florida
