Yamaha Outboard Problem
Tue, Jan 15, 2008 4:34 PM
It acts like it would like to die but doesn't. Idle is extremely smooth and wide open is very fast. Starting is harder too. Misses and dies until it is a little warmer. I called the tech who rebuilt the carb and got nowhere. He is one of those "you're ignorant and I'm not" type of guys. Has anyone else heard of this? Doc on Sedona Ft.

How does session timer work for iOS when app is in background?
Fri, Sep 28, 2012 9:57 AM
But when I hit Home button, when session timer expires my app will send out UPDATE message to keep my session alive so my sip session won't die. But how come! When app is in background iOS won't run it anymore; how come it can continually send out UPDATE message ? And why that only happens in the case I hit Home button. Thanks! Qiulang

bird/glass collisions
Sun, Sep 12, 2010 3:13 AM
In Europe alone, 250,000 birds per day die from these collisions. Solutions to date have been only partially helpful: attaching silhouettes of raptors to the windows, hanging netting from the eaves, even putting sticky notes over the windows. Not only do these solutions not work well, but they obstruct the inhabitants' vision.
