TWL: O.K. all you top-notch outboard mechanics --- HELP!
Mon, Apr 30, 2001 1:10 PM
l choke, runs 10 seconds, dies. I can force it to run for an additional 20-30 seconds by "goosing" the throttle off and on, but it only runs at high RPM (lots of gas from the "goosing") and then always eventually dies. No amount of choke on-off-partial or warm up is helping. What am I missing? This *MUST* be a very common symptom - Any thoughts? Many thanks, Ray. 32' Sundowner Pilothouse Tug Belhaven, NC

winner to us." Powerboat Reports Volume 8, Mumber 6 June 1995. I have a 32' Island Gypsy and am very happy. One nice thing about the Island Gypsy is the deck is solid fiberglass so water intrusion will not rot the decking core. The IG has a draft of 3.5 feet. ce and the canvas shop talked us into stratoglas. I bit pricey, but two years in and we are very pleased. We also chose white to lessen heat gain and fabric fading. Steve P
