Re: T&T: RACOR 500 (Ford Lehman 120)

The engine room gauges are just over the Racors, about 6-8 inches from the tops of the tanks. The remote gauges up in the main cabin are maybe a foot above the tops of the tanks. I notice no real difference in their readings.

I suppose it all depends on how it is used. My original one was towed behind a 26' Bayliner. AT times I was sure it was in the air more than the water. I then had it on its side on the swim platform. Never used davits of any kind and had no problem BUt I did have to take the outboard off all the time.

The logic is all DTL on several large PCBs that are stacked on top of each other. The DTL DIP chips are surface mounted with their leads bent out from the body and soldered onto traces on top of the boards so replacing them with socketed TTL is easy.

It was working the tops of the spruce trees, while avoiding the more common cedar and Jack Pine. TWL: When to stop Pumping Fuel?
Mon, Oct 15, 2001 2:31 PM
I don't know of a reason to fill your tank to the very top. If you do that on a cool day and the temp goes up fuel will ooze out of you vents. .

Perhaps someone closer has the form in PDF format or a website where it is posted. Noonsite, on its webpage has it referenced at the top http://www.noonsite.com/Countries/USA/Seattle but no further references. I though I had it but can't find it offhand. In either case it appears to have nothing to do with a cruising permit or such.
