[Ontbirds] HSR: Holiday Beach Conservation Area (10 Sep 2013) 160 Raptors

They had planned a 1 day visit to go birding at Point Pelee and were now on their 4th day in the area! Malcom McLaren from Chatham came by in the afternoon hoping to photograph some hawks, but things had slowed down by then. Weather: A hot, humid day with temperatures ranging from 24 - 29C.

10/17 Hartford, Cedar Hill Cemetery - Lots of PINE SISKIN flying over as well as PURPLE FINCH. Probably a good night throughout the state for HERMIT THRUSH, 5+ birds. Also, flyover loon that looked like RED-THROATED..... quick wingbeats and narrow wings. Paul Cianfaglione and Carl Ekroth

And there is little doubt that the Telcos used PRR-10s with cesiums as 10 MHz input on occasion or other standards which provided no EFC ability to complete the loop.
