Re: [OpenSCAD] OpenSCAD language - replace it with Python3

By all means go and build that - but you will end up working at the library level with csg libraries, or outputting an openscad file of the resulting construct. The former means you can query internal state more easily, the latter is easy to do and has been done many times already.

Fuel tank design criteria
Fri, Aug 17, 2012 12:55 AM
One DIY photo showed the top of baffles below top and not welded. This is a recipe for problems. The unsupported edge will bow under normal sloshing impact. Another showed no cut outs at top thus forming pockets wherein gas can collect. Not to mention which the tank cannot vent properly. We stipulated button hole welding for baffles to top of tank.

TWL: RE: Re: Terminal blocks versus terminal strips
Mon, May 26, 2003 11:44 PM
It wasn't new when I first got acquainted with it back in the early 1970's One shape is like a "C" in cross section the other looks more like an inverter "top hat" The advantage being you can mount various sized and shaped terminal blocks to suit varying size wires. For an example look at the WAGO brand website.

The marine units are not at all like the automobile / truck units -- many more functions like way points, etc. Check out article # (12) JUST TOYS OR GREAT LOOP NECESSARY on our website under the Cruising Articles section for more information.
