He impressed me immediately with his wealth of knowledge about the natural world around us, and his willingness to share that with all. I subscribe to his free blog and website, and I recommend all to do the same. Frank Mantlik Stratford Sent from my iPhone > On Aug 12, 2019, at 12:09 PM, Frank Mantlik wrote: > > 8/12.

Re: T&T: 12/24Volt wiring ???

A converter feeds all of the load through a stepdown process and is inherently inefficient. Plus, you need a converter which can handle your highest load. When you are using an equalizer, the load is drawn from the batteries and the equalizer is essentially the charges, so you can get by with an equalizes which handles the average load.

Re: T&T: Shore Power Charging - turn it OFF?

This sounds like an excellent mode, but since I am not on the boat in the winter (I'm actually 3000 miles away) and I use the boat all summer, I have not had a chance to try it. However next spring I am going to give it a try. I'm also going to install a voltmeter with a computer interface so I can more easily monitor the charge/discharge cycles.

Shortly after Mike Schooly dumped on Rod I don't think that you can draw that conclusion. In some cases the commotion will draw more discussion and sometimes not. The same can be said for topics which are pretty calm.

Re: [time-nuts] Ublox Neo M8T no output on TP2 question please?

Regarding flash/no-flash bootleg versions - mask ROM firmware residing on the die does not support FTS functions (there is not enough space for extra features and increasing the die size would increase base product cost) so if you have FTS product then it must have flash inside to run the code from.

Re: [time-nuts] Cutler NAA on 24.0kHz....

Its a few opamps perhaps one side acting as a phase delay summing with the original and hitting a BPF. all of that running at 100Hz center frequency. Through this magic the 900 could use NAA as a phase tracking reference. Its as if its a classic phase doubler. The documentation almost speaks to that. Its seriously simple. Regards Paul.
