Sherwood Island, 10/11
Sat, Oct 11, 2008 10:49 PM
Sherwood Island State Park, Westport, Sat. 10/11. Today's Sherwood Island highlight for me was a belted kingfisher. I first saw it from the heron viewing platform on the west side of the park. It was out over Mill Pond, hovering in the air and then diving. Very cool.

Re: [time-nuts] Coarse adjustment of PRS-10 with 5335A

> why not let the PRS-10 set itself using the > 1PPS input and an appropriate time constant? I'm still unclear about the interactions between a gps disciplined PRS-10 and manual tuning but since the conceptual point of the Rb is hold-over I want to be sure the frequency parameters are tuned for the current state of physics package.

time-nuts@febo.com said: > Has anyone actually measured the 10 Mhz level on their thunderbolt? More > than +10 dbm? My scope says 5V p-p unterminated. Half that into a 50 ohm terminator. [My brain doesn't think in dB. You will have to do the conversion.] -- These are my opinions. I hate spam.
