The ceramic top is very easy to clean--much like the electric ceramics. The stove also doubles as a diesel cabin heater in a small boat. There is a forced external draft, there is a circulating fan which pushes the hot air off the burners when the top in closed, making the unit a heater. I don't think it would be practical in heating a large boat.

Then pass the unknotted end through one eye, across the top of the battery through the other eye and then tie it off as tight or lose as you'd like with the knot of your choice. With four parts across the top of the battery, it is easy on the hands. Costs about $0.25! It doesn't lighten the battery, but it makes lifting them manageable.

Easy enough to check on them from time to time to make sure they are in working order. Anyone else have such problems? Any reservation about the fix? Edmond Badham COSMO Wilmington, NC
