An excellent sound, vibration dampening product
Tue, Jan 30, 2007 3:39 PM
No vibrations at all, strictly NO condensation at all and an incredible noise dampening. When we are on the top of the bridge or in the aft cabin, you definitely can't say if you are on a sailboat or a powerboat. No noise, no vibration. The bad news came some months later: the product was so good than the company went to bankruptcy.

Surveyor
Thu, Feb 26, 2009 3:00 AM
When I bought my Camano in 2004 the survey was done in Mobile by Richard Schiehl Of Orange Beach, Alabama ph. (800) 364-2108 or (251) 979-5921. To be honest I don't have a lot of experience with surveys or surveyors but it seemed to me he did a thorough and professional job and nothing ever turned up later that he had missed.

Check the Demopolis Yacht Basin website for current info and to calculate bridge clearance. Then make sure your friend talks to Fred. He may not want the mast up. Ted Ted Stehle Waterway Guide/Skipper Bob Publications www.waterwayguide.com www.skipperbob.net

Re: [time-nuts] HP Cesium Standards in the International Atomic Time Scale, the legend of Felix Lazarus, and the "top cover

It was the primary standard after all.   As > the instrument would get handled or power cycled, it could shift a touch > each time.  And God forbid if you took the top cover off for some > reason!   All of Felix’s fine tuning, screw by screw, would be lost.   > (I don’t think he actually hand tuned each screw on every product.
