[Ontbirds] Quinte Area Bird Report for week ending Thursday, February 10, 2005
Fri, Feb 11, 2005 1:49 AM
A feeder at 2075 County Road 7, east of Lake-on-the-Mountain apparently felt that a mere dozen NORTHERN CARDINALS wasn't high enough a total, and now enjoys daily visits from no fewer than 15 ! There is also a SONG SPARROW visiting the feeder there, and another at 23 Sprague Road.

pps vs. 10 MHz timing
Fri, Dec 12, 2008 2:42 AM
On my Oscilloquartz GPSDO, the 10 MHz output goes low at very close to the same time as the 1 PPS output goes high. On my Fury, the 10 MHz sine wave is just dropping off of its max high voltage as the 1 PPS goes high. The 10 MHz CMOS output goes high just shortly before the 1 PPS. What do other GPSDOs do?

Hi Dick, Down East Microwave makes a 10 MHz distribution kit called the 10-4. I think it sell around $50. 1 input port and 4 output ports. Dave W6TE ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard W.

(See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_notation#E_notation) 1E-12 and 10^-12 are the same number, specifically 1,000,000,000,000. 10E-12 is one order of magnitude (ten times) larger. -ch

Not much to report from an early afternoon visit to a couple spots in Bridgeport/Stratford yesterday. I failed to locate any major gull flocks, as Tina Green reported.

Double to 20, divide by 10, and then mix the 2 with the original 10, You could also just divide by 5 and then mix that 2 with the original 10. Again, filtering required. 73 - Mike Mike B. Feher, N4FS 89 Arnold Blvd.
