Re: TWL: Engine controls, simplicity, confort, reliability?
Mon, Jul 7, 2003 9:50 PM
Morse cable controls are simple, low cost, reliable, and easy to maintain. Their weak point is in two-steering-station installations, where the friction of all the extra cables and controls may add up to become excessive. As you are planning a single-steering-station installation, Morse cables would be my first choice.

. > > Geez, nothing is ever easy, but trouble! John; I hope this isn't another witless suggestion after all the work and thought you've devoted to this solution. But, if whatever vent you end up with isn't effective enough and you're getting too much of the rotten gas drifting around, you could install a Groco Sweettank.

Go out and get one of those one burner butane stove top portable units! I've got one and it's perfect for small uses in the morning. Kinda makes you feel like you're stealing, because it's cheap and easy to use. I take it up on the flybrige sometimes when it's appropriate to make popcorn with the kids, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.
