TWL: Expertise, the search for
Fri, Jan 11, 2002 4:28 PM
Since you won't, do it now before they are transferred or die. Hope to hell they know what they are talking about. If challenged because of something not done absolutely correct, plead the truth, ignorance. Use as your defence that you have used due diligence, searched high and low for the proper answers and been blindsided by the system.

Laptops

They do eventually die but have managed to get 2-3 years more use out of them so far. I used to just take the home laptop to and from the boat with the map software in it. Was nice cause I could work on routes at home and didn't have to transfer the waypoints and all but now I just use my USB key. Russ

We are hole up in Reedville waiting a day or two for this NE to die down, then we head south. I've just read six or seven accounts of boats that have been through the dismal canal since Aug, each describing bumping things more than once.

GPSDO Comparison - Never Happened?
Sat, Sep 1, 2007 3:57 PM
Did I totally miss out, or did the idea just die? The reason I mention this is I recently had to move my office for a few months and I don't have any GPS access, hence all my GPSDOs' and accessories are sitting in storage until I move back.
