Take plaster and build a little pool on the bottom of the boat, fill it with liquid epoxy, into which you will place the tranducer in a vertical position and support it there to harden. All done.... .

After all, what you are doing when you cut a line is dropping a perpetual killing machine to the bottom--crabs die, attracts other crabs to the pot, which die, which attracts other crabs. Same for lobsters. Rick, I believe the way you do about wantonly cutting the floats from crab or lobster pots. However, I have installed "Spurs" on my boat.

A half dozen caps and diodes I would guess and, if you don't get it right they die pretty quick - so you gotta do it right. Nice place to put a manual by pass to start the engine if ignition switch or wiring die. Jim > > Most marine applications use a second solenoid to energize the starter > solenoid.

While I am at it... thanks for the words on Die Hard. My start group 31 died so I looked up the web site and picked a 650CCA Die Hard. The web site said "good for a 150 - 300 HP gas or diesel engine".
