The young man explained that the stranded starfish would die if left in the morning sun. The old man exclaimed, "But there must be thousands of starfish. How can your efforts make any difference?" The young man looked down at the starfish in his hand and as he threw it to safety in the sea, he said," It makes a difference to this one!"

In my experience, (in addition to being a dentist, my academic hobby is studying health fraud, quackery and pseudoscience in general) antifluoride websites and literature are, for the most part, pure and unadulterated bull shit.

It is written up on our >website at http://www.yandina.com/hints.htm#BatterySaver > >Regards, > >Andina Marie Foster, >tech@yandina.com Andina, I went around and studied the page you mentioned above. Also, some of the other pages. Your solutions show cleverness and originality, good thinking "outside the box" so to speak.

There's a web page at the FAA website that discusses it, and the events where interference is suspected. It's not common, but it's also not unheard of, although usually, it's just inferred that this is what happened.

3458A - To Modify or Not To Modify?
Wed, Nov 2, 2011 1:44 PM
If I leave it 'un-modified', it is successfully calibrated and I purchase the service agreement, when the 1997 DALLAS chips finally die, it gets a nice trip back to Loveland for the 'full repair', all for the price of $175.20 per year.
