Did you see this link?

Oh, geeze...not again!

Yes, I'm WELL aware of it!  've tried unsuccessfully for more than 5
years to get boatbuilding.com to remove it, but they don't even
acknowledge my emails. Not just "some of the info" is dated...more than
half of it is! 'Cuz I haven't revised it since 1996--when I realized how
much it needed, I decided to write a book instead...but every time
they've learned of a new email address or phone number for me, THEY
"revise" it, making it appear that it's much more current than it is.
And it creates another problem...people see it, then either put a link
to it on their websites or copy/paste it whole cloth. I find it on about
half a dozen sites a year...including one on which the guy published it
as HIS OWN "copyrighted" work. However, since at least half the info in
it is so outdated that it's wrong, that's fine with me...let HIM take
the heat for it.

But as is illustrated here, that d'd article has taken on a life of its
own and refuses to die.  I know of no way to kill it short of recruiting
a hacker to go into boatbuilding.com and destroy it. Lee says, "a friend
just sent me this link."  Lee, please forward my comments to that friend
and ask him NOT to send it to anyone else!

A friend just sent  me this link.
I am NOT looking to open up any "old wounds" but since this article
was written by Ms. Peggy Hall, who many of us on this list know, love
and respect because of her expertise, and her willingness to share
unequivocally, I thought you all might to see in one place where many
of our questions have been answered.

Some of the info is dated, but not the lessons learned
